Job Description

  • Assist in managing reporting and finance operations of Marketing Operation and its branches and dormant or semi-active companies.
  • Co-ordinate and ensure that all activities in the month end close process are performed in accordance to the prescribed checklist.
  • Liaise with AP and AR functions on the month end close activity, in order to obtain information in respect of accruals and similar appropriate adjustments and to a facilitate the review and approval of actual figures.
  • Ensure that all reporting deliverables are accurately prepared and analyzed on monthly basis.
  • Ensure that all discrepancies and/or errors are identified with the remedial or rectification action and resolutions for review.
  • Support the delivery of timely and accurate statutory accounts and tax analyses through liaison with the tax consultant teams and external auditors.
  • Handle agents’ commissions and incentive payments, including checking, reviewing and preparation of annual agent income statements.
  • Handle and verify branches’ quarterly and annual incentives calculation before payments are processed for approval.
  • Assist and support superior on annual and periodical tax compliance, including GST compliance work.
  • Participate and assist actively on all work automation and new ERP works and working closely with the team and superior.
  • Supervise the team and manages the quality of work performed by the team.
  • Carry out ad-hoc assignments as delegated by superior or Senior Management.
  • Any other duties as assigned by superior/management to you from time to time.

Requirements

  • Degree in accounting or partial professional qualification in ACCA/CPA.
  • Possess at least 5 years working in supervising on all accounting-related work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work under fast paced environment and result oriented.
  • Hands on, meticulous and detail oriented.
  • Experience in supervising a team of staffs to deliver timely reporting deliverables.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and other ad-hoc assignments.
